Redbird Fires news

So, due to circumstances beyond my control, I’ve just gotten the rights to Redbird Fires back. This was kind of out of left field for me– I only found out about this a few weeks ago. After going through the Author’s Cycle of Grief that my story is getting pulled from distribution, (What? Wait, what? WHAT? Oh. Fine. Whatever,) I’m choosing to look at this as a blessing in disguise. I plan on re-editing over the next month and either submitting to a new publisher or self-publishing it. It certainly wasn’t my best work and has room for improvement, so I might as well take this opportunity to make it better.

Just so y’all know what’s going on.

Also, due to some plagiarism issues, the free stories hosted on Literotica have been taken down. I’m hoping that it’s temporary and I can re-edit and re-release those as well, possibly through Smashwords or some such distributor. It’s been on my to-do list for the last year, but was never a huge priority since the rough draft was out there. Now it’s suddenly gotten a little more important.

I swear, I’m getting a headache just thinking about it.
